Project Management Lead

Reports to: VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

FLSA Status: Full Time, Salary-Exempt

SUMMARY:

A hands-on, high visibility and high impact position, the Project Management Lead is responsible for dealing internally with sales, marketing, operations, engineering, and executive leadership, as well as, externally with end user customers, channel partners, supplier partners. The Project Management Lead will report directly to the VP of Sales and have a matrixed relationship with the VP of Operations, VP of Marketing, and Product Manager

The Project Management Lead will work closely with all departments to coordinate and achieve the company’s goals with a focus on trying to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering industry-leading value and service.

The lead is responsible for the strategy, structure, efficiency, and effectiveness of the daily operations of all Project Management functions. The Project Management Lead is responsible for the coaching and development of team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Establishing, and the continuous improvement of, processes, policies, Objectives & Key Results (OKR’s) and Key Performance Measures (KPI’s) for the functions under their leadership. ·
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve results, which includes formal quarterly performance reviews.
  • Hold weekly tactical and daily stand-up meetings, to discover challenges and opportunities and lead the teams in developing action plans and problem solving.
  • Lead the creation of company playbooks to ensure teams provide consistently high levels of performance.
  • Lead the continuous improvement activities focused on improving accuracy and efficiency to deliver industry best experiences for our team and customers.
  • Provide leadership and vision for training programs and content development for internal teams including but not limited to technical training and product training.
  • Develop relationships with OEM partners.
  • Model Combi’s mission, vision, and values and recognize and reward team members for doing the same.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit at a desk. Standing and walking to different departments will be required. The employee will need vision to see close, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, talk, hear and listen.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in engineering, project management, business, or related field or equivalent
  • 3+ years of directly relevant Project Management experience
  • Management Experience a plus
  • Packaging Automation experience a plus
