Sr. Robotics Simulation Engineer
Reports to: Sales Operations Lead
FLSA Status: Full Time, Salary-Exempt
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Robotics Simulation Engineer will play a key role as a technical resource supporting pre-sale and post-sale activities. Your work will be crucial in accelerating the development process, optimizing robotic designs, and ensuring robustness and reliability for our customer deployments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Own the simulation foundation for developing a trustworthy robot.
- Define our approach to modeling the robot and the world in simulation.
- Create digital simulations of robotics in packaging and palletizing systems delivering collision-free systems which make rate and fulfill all customer requirements
- Develop and oversee custom tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of robotic
simulation workflows and testing of full digital twins. - Develop off-line programs to be used for current robotic system builds and future builds.
- Price and recommend the most beneficial robotic components needed to achieve customer’s requirements.
- Be an ongoing source of Mentorship and trainer for our junior simulation engineers for a strong and passionate robotics engineering department.
- Collaborate with the Applications Engineering Team to help integrate Robotics into mechanical automation.
- Travel will be required to attend customer sites for application verification and sales support, various Trade Shows, Expos, and training for continued personal growth.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Education and Experience:
- BS in Robotics/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 3 Years experience in Fanuc Roboguide simulations
- Demonstrated experience with simulation frameworks and applying simulations to expedite real robot development
- Packaging / Palletizing Automation experience a plus
